Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from all of us here at Cooper Machine!
We are very thankful to have such great customers!
Holiday Schedule

New In Frame Skewing/Dual Axis Scanning System for Overheads
Cooper Machine is now offering a new dual axis scanning system with right/left skewing. The centering rolls will be able to move up to 3" each way so the Overhead will create two equal faces on the log to cut down on boards to be edged out of the gang. This will also allow our customers to cut 2-3% more yield. The 90 degree and double dog will be moved to the front carriage. The rear carriage will have a retractable dog, so a log can be loaded at log drop, scan and be ready to dog on return. This should speed up the load cycle about 30%. This new system will use the dependable Cooper ultrasonic system, but will scan both the top and sides of the log. The image of the log and the optimum cut will be shown graphically on a separate computer screen. This system is very dependable with low maintenance costs. This system is available on circular saw Overheads as well as Twin Band Overheads. We also offer the Lewis Controls 3D scanning system.
Now Offering Band Saw Blades
As an added service to our customers, Cooper Machine is now selling Band Saw Blades in widths of 4" up to 10". The blades come in swaged or tipped. Just let us know the quantity wanted, width, length, gauge, type tip, hook, and kerf and we will get you a price. All band blades are German Uddeholm Steel. If you have additional questions please contact Don Engel at 478-252-5885.
Financing
Cooper Machine is now offering financing for our US customers through GE Capital on orders over $10,000. For more information please contact Frances Cooper at 478-252-5885 or by email at frcooper@coopermachine.com

New CMEC110EMS External Memory Stick
Cooper Machine Company, Inc. is now offering the CMEC110EMS external memory stick standard on all Cooper machines. This memory stick stores the memory for the operation of the machine, which includes the information for the servo system, the ultrasound system, timers, setwork settings, sawing profiles and all production reports. In the event of a power glitch or other computer failure, if the board is still reliable, the memory stick will restore the settings and profiles that were previously saved with just a few key strokes. If however, the board no longer works, then all you have to do is swap the EPROMS to a new board and then plug in the memory stick. With a few key strokes the settings and profiles that were previously saved will be restored, all in less than 15 minutes.
This memory stick can be retrofitted on all older Cooper model machines with a computer upgrade. Please call Cooper Machine at 478-252-5885 for more information.
